Transmission presents a new body of oil paintings by Eric Diehl exploring the intersection of landscape, infrastructure, and perception. Data centers, renewable energy systems, autonomous technologies, and the American deserts that surround them become interconnected points through which energy, information, and attention move. Built through months of patient observation and an exacting process, the paintings propose another form of transmission; a human process that stands in quiet contrast to the speed, efficiency, and computational power of the systems they depict.

Across his practice, Diehl has reimagined the American landscape as a site where the spiritual and the infrastructural converge. His paintings draw from the transcendental traditions of the American desert while remaining deeply attentive to the technologies that increasingly shape it. Through an extraordinary commitment to observation and craft, familiar terrain becomes quietly uncanny; landscapes suspended between contemplation and computation, where the visible world hints at the invisible systems that animate it.
