Larrie is pleased to present Headless. The exhibition opens with the premiere of Daniel Arnold’s film These Lights.

Headless—a guide to leaving rigid logics behind. Discard assigned structures. Head towards imagination, a boundless destination. Headlessness is multiplicity—both/and—beyond either/or. Headlessness is fluidity. Headlessness is freedom.

1. These Lights; Sutton St, 2012 - Feature Film and Chromogenic Print by Daniel Arnold

A chronological compilation of instantaneous, visceral moments of human nature; NYC in all its maximalist rawness. To be headless is to be spontaneous. To be headless is to be vulnerable.

2. Cosmic Perspective, 2019 - Mixed Media Interactive Sculpture by Alicia Mersy

A thumbnail accumulation of poignant thought and benevolent knowledge transcribed on a digitized desktop galaxy. To be headless is to be receptive. To be headless is to experience the transcendent universe.

3. I like to play with you; You’re not even close; Adieu, 2021- Charcoal on Paper by Ikeda Moody-Golding

A surrealist microcosm stretched to facilitate unlimited expression and a return to raw, unfiltered emotion. To be headless is to be limitless. To be headless is to become.

4. Esme’s Bond, 2019 - Installation by Sean-Kierre Lyons

An anthropomorphic installation rooted in a gender-devoid fairytale, which unveils the power of interconnectivity. To be headless is is to be loving. To be headless is to overcome.
