Ro Art Services is delighted to present Overhang 2, a continuation of its pop-up exhibitions at partnering galleries. The exhibition presents 12 artists working across painting and sculpture, who share an intensity in the thoughtful underpinnings of their work, and present it through individualistic style both generous and overt.

Themes of the body and landscape both physical and metaphorical wade in and out of focus across the group's work, made by artists whose collective careers and experience range from the emerging to mid-career. The "Overhang" exhibition series uses the summer group-show trope for fostering collaborative exhibition opportunities. The first iteration is presented with Goldfinch Gallery, and this second iteration at Essex Flowers is its first pop-up outside Chicago.
