Daata, the first and only platform that produces, commissions, exhibits, curates, and sells all forms of digital art, is pleased to announce its latest exhibition in collaboration with Infinite Objects, a New York-based start-up that offers video art prints. ASMR: Video Art Pop-Up is inspired by the wave of autonomous meridian response, or 'ASMR', videos and artworks from Daata archive, which are defined by visual triggers that cause a feeling of well-being and relaxation. ASMR: Video Art Pop-Up is a collection of 48 ASMR inspired artworks from Daata’s archive displayed on an Infinite Objects device. On view at a dedicated gallery space and the large scale screen at 1500 Broadway in the heart of Times Square, the exhibition presents works that soothe in one of the busiest corners of New York City.

“The collection of works from Daata’s archive showcase our artists interpretation of ASMR, which have proliferated in recent years,” said David Gryn, Founder of Daata. “As a digitally native trend that garners millions of views daily, ASMR fulfills a need for people and perhaps provides a regulating outlet for our psyches. We found the juxtaposition of digital art that grappled with the concept of calmness and serenity with the frenetic sensation of being in Times Square to be a powerful one.”

This is the latest in a series of ongoing collaborations between Daata and Infinite Objects. Previous notable collaborations between the two include Rashaad Newsome’s Assembly project at the Park Avenue Armory and Jeremy Couillard’s Fuzz Spiral in Times Square.
