Rumpelstiltskin is thrilled to present Race with the other side, featuring an installation made onsite by Kevin Kemter and a selection of recent videos by Damon Packard.

At the supermarket there are photo pickup shelves. People write their names down when they drop off their film and I always look inside the envelopes with interesting handwriting. When there ' s childlike weirdo handwriting, of course I look at all the photos. I' ve found so much interesting stuff there.

I always look at the photos and if they ’ re good, I take out the negatives and make prints of my own. And best case, the envelope is still there the next week when I pick up my prints, and I put the negatives back where I found them. And no one notices anything. I' m always exactly there on the due date and I pick up my photos. All week long I' m looking forward to it. But other people are different. They let their photos go moldy.
